Identification Process At ChainRift
The verification of your identity is important for a variety of reasons. Verifying your identity helps protect your account from fraud and increases the security of your crypto assets. It’s also necessary for ChainRift to verify your identity to meet our obligations under US law & regulation (including our obligations under the Banking Secrecy Act).
At ChainRift, we take our obligations to operate fairly and in compliance with our legislative and regulatory commitments seriously. Cryptocurrency operates in a sphere of relatively high risk, and this fact is not lost on us. As such, we have various measures in place to protect our users and do all we can in ensuring our platform cannot be used to launder assets, fund terrorism, contribute to criminal or unlawful activity, be used for fraud, or for any other nefarious purposes.
The vast majority of users on our platform have individual accounts. Once your account is verified, you’ll be able to withdrawal $250,000 worth of cryptocurrency assets per day, and $2,500,000 monthly. Proceed to ‘Verification’ under the account settings to get started.
Larger limits and corporate accounts
We want to keep things as simple as possible for our users which is why we try to cover as many people as possible with our Verified status; however, this isn’t going to be the right fit for everyone. Should you be trading towards the upper ceiling of our Verified account, you may be invited into our higher tier. Similarly, corporate accounts also enjoy increased trading and withdrawal limits as well as other benefits. Please contact us if you’re interested in checking to see if you qualify for these accounts.
We’re committed to remaining transparent and open in our methods of operation. We may from time to time require verification of an account regardless of whether a user has applied for a Verified account or not, should we be guided to do so by our Compliance team. We trust you understand that we take our KYC policy, in conjunction with our AML/CTF policy seriously and that we are committed to meeting all of our obligations under US regulation and law.
If you have any questions or need any help with your verification, please contact our support team.
